Thank you for your interest in our church. I began my ministry at First Congregational Church of Whitman (FCCW) on February 1st, 2013 and have truly fallen in love with this church and the community of Whitman. FCCW is a wonderful church full of wonderful people and I am proud to serve as their Pastor.
I graduated from Andover Newton Theological School in 2007 and served churches in Westwood, MA and Newmarket, NH before being called to FCCW. I have a deep passion for ministry in the parish setting because my ministry is relational and focused on people’s lives and their faith journeys. I believe that ministry is about building relationships with people and developing a sense of trust that allows us to walk together on a journey towards a deeper relationship with God.
In addition to serving as Pastor, I am also proud to serve the community of as the Chaplain of the Fire Department as well as a member of the Call Fire Department. I am also the Varsity volleyball coach at Whitman-Hanson High School. When the church was searching for their new pastor they told me that they wanted someone who would be involved in the community…they may have gotten a little more than they bargained for!
My wife, Annie, and I are the proud parents of Caroline, Jackson, Ryan and Ethan who keep us on our toes at all times. If I’m not at church I’m probably on the side of a field somewhere cheering my kids on!
